CDC Business Meeting 2-22-2009

Debbie asked the minutes from the last minutes be read. Jeff made a motion the minutes be accepted as posted. David seconded the motion. Motion Passed.

 The Treasurer’s Profit & Loss statement was handed out to those present.  Several dates were wrong on the report.  Jeff stated the $2,000.00 loan was put in the club account on February 3^rd.

No motion was made to accept the Profit & Loss statement as presented.

Old Business:

The ½ price coupon given on Monday, and get in Tuesday for ½ price, is going ok. Debbie said in the last two weeks she had about 10-12 coupons used.

 Jeff said the church group will rent the building for the next 6 weeks on Friday nights for their fish fry.  They will be connecting to the natural gas to cook the fish.  Jeff said they would pay the difference in our gas bill.

 Board of Directors nomination posted for the last 30 days:

Sandi Durham, Colette Schwenneker, Lily Dees, Terry Luther, Si Smith, David Forbes,

Karen O’Neal, & Emily Edster.

Sandi Durham declined the nomination, the other 7 nominations are what is required for the Board of Directors.  Jeff made motion the board of directors be as posted the past 30 days.  David seconded the motion. Motion passed.

 New Business:

Dave, a friend of our new member Deb Standley, has agreed to help in building the club attendance to dance classes with his expertise in advertising with little or no cost to the club.   

Jane Smith said there was a dance at the Canes Ballroom in Tulsa on the 1^st Saturday night of March, Bob Willis birthday party. 

Karen made a motion the club do a club trip to the Canes Ballroom in Tulsa on this date. Jeff seconded the motion. Motion passed.
