CDC Business Meeting 10-19-08

Special thanks to all who came to help with club clean up. Thank you for
you continuing support of the Country Dance Club. Those who came for the
clean up: Lily Dees, Emily Edster, Jeff & Debbie Wood, Terry Luther, Regena
Edster, David Forbes & Gwen Walker. Decorations were put up for Halloween,
"Everything looks great."

Debbie called the meeting to order. She asked the minutes from the last
meeting be read. David made a motion the minutes be accepted as posted, Jeff
seconded the motion. Motion passed.

Treasurer's report was discussed. Jeff stated the club was losing money, it
is down $3,000.00 for the year. This year the club only has one monthly
renter, last year there were two monthly renters every month. The club
isn't spending any extra money than before.

Regena made a motion the treasurer's report be accept as presented. Lily
seconded the motion.



Old Business

Halloween decorations - done.

T-shirts with a logo on them for those who choose to purchase one, and all
go out as a club dancing. Jeff checked into the price of a t-shirt -
$10.00, he said he would check into getting a logo put on it. Jeff will
report back at next meeting.

New Business

Jeff made a motion to rent the building from Thanksgiving to Christmas for
Christmas parties to anyone who calls. Rent to be set at $250.00 with a
$200.00 deposit. The club will hire someone to clean the building after the
party. Jeff said he will change the radio ad to announce the renting of the
building for Christmas parties.

Karen seconded the motion. Motion passed.

Dance club Christmas party set for December 12th at 7:00 pm, with our next
dance club meeting being at the time also. This meeting will also be the
meeting to nominate officers for the next coming year. The party date is a
flexible date, if the opportunity comes up to rent the building on this
date, it will be rented and the party to be the next Friday night.

Jeff made a motion the meeting be adjourned, Gwen seconded the motion.
Motion passed.
