CDC Business Club Meeting 10/15/06 Debbie Wood called the meeting to order. She asked everyone to look over the Profit and Loss Statements for August and September. TJ Moore made a motion to accept the P & L Statements as presented. Debbie Allen seconded the motion. Motion approved. Debbie asked the minutes be read from last meeting. David Forbes made a motion the minutes are accept as posted. Gerald Dunham seconded the motion. Motion passed. Old Business Debbie asked about the floor machine. Jeff said he would put an ad in the free newspaper to sell the floor machine. Pot holes in the parking lot will be repair with weather permitting at Christmas break, when the dance club is closed for two weeks. TJ and Jeff Wood have this in the works. Debbie Allen give the by laws to Debbie Wood to proof read. Then Debbie Allen will make copies and give to all members who would like a set. Halloween party will be a 7pm Friday night the 20th. TJ Moore is doing the games again this year. $150.00 was approved at the August meeting to use for prizes to winners in all activities including the costume contest. Pot luck finger foods will be brought by those attending. It will be a $2.00 charge at the door for all who come. New Business Christmas Party will be on December 15th at 7pm. White Elephant gift and pot luck dessert will get you in the front door. TJ will be doing the games that night. TJ made a motion the club furnish Bar B Que with all the fixings for dinner that night. GerryLynn Applegarth seconded the motion. Motion passed. TJ made a motion to open the soda machine as drinks for the party. Susan seconded the motion. Motion passed. TJ suggested $80.00 for prizes for the games at the Christmas party. No motion was made or passed on this. Debbie Allen said she would put a sign up sheet at the front door for the Christmas party. Next Business meeting set for December 10th. At this meeting we will ask for nominations of officers for 2007 and to decorate the building for Christmas after the meeting. There will be a club clean up at 3pm, the meeting will began after the clean up. Please if your email address has changed call or email with your change to keep your application up to date.
