CDC Business Meeting 4/15/07 Debbie Allen called the meeting to order. She asked the minutes to read from the last meeting. Jeff Wood made a motion the minutes be accepted as posted. TJ Moore seconded the motion. Motion passed. Profit and Loss statements for February and March were discussed. Jeff said he took the gas bill off average billing. TJ made a motion the P & L be accepted as presented. David Forbes seconded the motion. Motion passed. Debbie Allen thanked several members of the dance club for their help with the St Patrick’s Day Friday night dance. GerryLynn Applegarth for buying the decorations and David and Gwen for putting up the decorations and setting up the snacks. Also Lacinda Files for furnishing and putting the kilzs on the side of the building to cover up the graffiti. Thanks to David for cleaning the cabinet in the kitchen and putting the tools under lock and key.
Old Business Floor machine, nothing as of yet. Concrete work, still in the works. A new external hard being set up on the computer by TJ so more music can be loaded in the system. Monthly club trips are still in the works. Advance dance lesson from 9 – 9:30 on Monday or Tuesday night was discussed. A sign up sheet will be put on the front table, there needs to be at least 5 couples for the advance class to be given on the last Monday or Tuesday of the month. As of now one month it will be on last Monday night of the month, the next month on the last Tuesday night of the month. Friday night social dance is on the radio ad now. Thank you, Jeff Wood.
Terry Luther suggested the club purchase a tool kit to keep around for small repairs. Debbie Wood made a motion for Terry to get a tool kit, 30.00 limit. Brenda seconded the motion . Motion passed.
New Business Debbie Wood received an email from a guy in Rogers offering the dance club the use of their 20 x 40 stage on main street in Rogers near Fresco Park at no charge. Several suggests were discussed, Debbie Allen said she would email back for someone to meet with the guy for details. Gerry Lynn Applegarth resigned as Vice President of the dance club. Debbie Allen will appoint someone else to fill this office. That to be announced at the next meeting.
Next meeting will be on June 24th at 4pm. TJ made a motion meeting to adjourn, Brenda seconded the motion. Motion passed.
