Minutes of the CDC Board Meeting, February 26, 2006 As the senior member of the board, Jeff Wood called the meeting to order approximately 5:30 p.m. For the benefit of the new members, he gave a brief explanation of the duties of the board. Basically the board provides oversight of the dance club officers, and makes sure that the bylaws of the club are followed. Also according to the bylaws, once the membership approves a large purchase, the board also must approve it as well before the money can be spent. Terry Luther was elected to the position of board chairman. Si Smith was elected to the position of board vice-chairman. Jeff Wood was elected to the position of board secretary/treasurer. There being no other business, the meeting was adjourned approximately 5:45 p.m. Jeff Wood, Secretary/Treasurer
