MINUTES: COUNTRY DANCE CLUB 1/25/2010

President Debbie Wood called the meeting to order at 9:03 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2010.

Karen O’Neal moved that the minutes from previous meetings this year be approved as posted. Debbie Allen seconded. Motion passed unanimously.

Secretary/Treasurer Jeff Wood passed out the treasurer's report. He reported that the club lost $3,117.18 in 2009. Debbie Allen moved that the reports be accepted. Karen O'Neal seconded. Motion passed unanimously.

The nominations for officers was presented to the club. Jeff Wood moved the officers be elected by acclamation. Karen O’Neal seconded. Motion passed unanimously.

Karen O’Neal then resigned as secretary. Debbie Wood appointed Jeff Wood to serve as secretary for the remainder of 2010.

The following were nominated for Board of Directors’ terms in 2010: Si Smith, Lucinda Files, Jane Smith, TJ Moore, Karen O’Neal, Terry Luther, Debbie Allen.

Jeff Wood moved that the nominations be closed and Karen O’Neal seconded. Motion passed.

Karen O’Neal and Terry Luther recommended we establish an entertainment page on the web site and invite local bands and clubs to send us links to their pages.

Debbie Wood announced that the next meeting would take place March 8, 2010.

Karen O’Neal moved that the meeting be adjourned. Jeff Wood seconded. Motion passed unanimously and the meeting adjourned about 9:30 p.m.
